Wonderful! Great food and staff. Buffet is excellent. went for dinner, had lamb rogan josh….so good! the nan is excellent and the rice pudding is yummy! love this place!

Very good food…..lamb momo, Sami Kawav, Chef’s grill…chicken chana……Everes chicken….Aloo pharsi….
and lunch buffet (noodle, 5-6 vegetable and 2 non vegetable curry and Tanduri chicken + Salad bar) just $ 9.65….so reasonable price…big parking facility…..

Hi,
I appreciate the blog. I do not know how to suggest in this matter. But, I must say something about ‘The Kathmandu’. We are situated at 3142 highland drive. Actually, from our restaurant, the mountain to the eastern part look like the mountain in Kathmandu. so, I take the 33 highland drive as the Kathmandu for me. I love this part very much.
I think, we have to support the new business to make this area popular.
So, support to ‘The Kathmandu’.

I’m not a local. But I do have an idea or two about the branding of a shopping district. The name in and of itself is not nearly as important as what the district needs to be known for. Why ahould it be a shopping destination?

If you can determine a way to differentiate your district (and the name does not differentiate, it just identifies), then that should be your brand’s focus. From that uniqueness a name might spring. Or at least a positioning statement (aka tagline) that can go along with any name you choose.

Having an address associated with the name will help people know where you’re located and that’s a good thing. But that’s not why people will come to the area. That’s what needs to be thought out and communicated in my humble opinion.
